DFO advises that for those fish harvesters licenced for the following portions of Scallop Fishing Areas (SFAs) 10 and 11, the scallop fishery opened at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2010:

• SFA 10 (Placentia Bay) north of 46 degrees 57 minutes North
• SFA 11 (Fortune Bay) north of 47 degrees 25 minutes North
