DFO advises that the 3Ps cod fishery in that portion of Placentia Bay enclosed by lines extending from Jigging Point to Point Verde and from Point Verde to Grandy’s Point will re-open for 3Ps fish harvesters at 0600 hours on January 9, 2010. The coordinates for the Area are:

Jigging Point: 47 degrees 40.342'minutes North, 54 degrees 19.128' minutes West

Point Verde: 47degrees,14.3’ minutes North, 55 degrees 1 minute West

Grandy’s Point: 47degrees, 27 minutes North, 54 degrees 24.3 minutes West.
