DFO advises that the cod fishery in NAFO Subdivision 3Ps (d),(e) and (g) will be closed effective November 15, 2009. This closure is in accordance with the Conservation Harvesting Plans (CHP's) and is related to the mixing of cod stocks from 4RS3Pn. This closure affects all vessel classes.
