DFO advises herring fixed gear licence holders in Herring Fishing Area 14 (Western Newfoundland and Southern Labrador), that an additional licence condition amendment is available that permits a further increase in the harvesting cap limit that is in place for this fishery.

Interested fish harvesters from this Fishing Area should contact their local DFO licencing office to obtain the new licence condition document in order to continue fishing beyond the original harvesting cap amount.
