DFO advises Herring fixed gear licence holders in Herring Fishing Area 14 (Western NL and Southern Labrador), that a licence condition amendment is available that permits an increase in the harvesting cap limit that is in place for this fishery.

Interested fish harvesters from Area 14 should contact their local DFO licencing office to obtain the licence condition amendment in order to continue fishing beyond the original harvesting cap amount.
