DFO advises that the stewardship cod fishery will close for all fish harvesters in NAFO divisions 2J3KL on Saturday, October 3 at 6 p.m. with the exception of the following:

• that portion of Notre Dame Bay between Middle Arm and Triton.

All fishing gear must be removed from the water by closing time. Fish harvesters are also reminded that it is mandatory that they return their logbooks.
