DFO advises that the Stewardship Cod Fishery will open for fish harvesters in the following area on Monday, September 28 at 6 a.m.

• Notre Dame Bay between the homeports of Middle Arm and Triton.

Fish harvesters must renew their groundfish licence and pay a cod individual quota (IQ) fee and arrange at-sea observer coverage services prior to fishing.

Compliance with management measures is essential for the success of this fishery. This will include the completion and return of logbooks.
