DFO advises that the commercial cod fishery in NAFO Divisions 4RS and sub-Division 3Pn for the Quebec Region Gaspe-based longliner fleet, using fixed gear (vessel class A133), re-opened at 6:00 a.m. NL Daylight time (4:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight time), Friday, September 11, 2009.

Due to the limited quota that is available for this fleet, the fishery will close at 1:30 a.m. NL Daylight time on Thursday, September 24, 2009 (midnight September 23, 2009 Eastern Daylight Time).
