DFO advises that the Greenland Halibut (Turbot) fishery for fixed gear vessels less than 65 feet in NAFO Divisions 2GHJ, slated to close at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2009, will now close at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2009.

This fishery has been extended due to poor weather conditions in the fishing area.

All fishing gear must be removed from the water by closing time.

This applies to all vessel classes beginning with A.
