DFO advises that the Greenland halibut (turbot) fishery for fixed gear vessels less than 65 feet in NAFO Divisions 2GHJ, slated to close at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009, will now close at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009.

This fishery has been extended due to poor weather conditions in the fishing area prior to the previously scheduled closure date.

All fishing gear must be removed from the water by closing time.

This applies to all vessel classes beginning with A.
