DFO advises that the winter flounder (blackback) fishery will close in portions of NAFO Divisions 3KL at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009.

This closure includes winter flounder fishing areas 1 to 14 as outlined in Appendix 1 of licence conditions.

All fishing gear must be out of the water by closing time.
