DFO advises fish harvesters in western Newfoundland and southern Labrador, who are participating in the 4R3Pn commercial cod fishery, of a change in the management measures that are in place for this fishery.

Under provisions of the Conservation Harvesting Plan, a separate seasonal fishery was scheduled for September. Since the quota for the July/August fishery has not been reached, the September seasonal quota will now be combined with the remaining quota from the summer fishery and the fishing season will continue with the combined amounts.
