DFO advises that the Atlantic Halibut fishery in NAFO Divisions 4RST, for the Quebec Region Magdelene Islands-based fish harvesters using fixed gear in vessels less than 65 feet (vessel class A227), will open at 5:30 a.m.

Newfoundland Daylight Time (5:00 a.m. Atlantic Daylight Time), Tuesday, August 11, 2009.

Due to the limited quota available for this fleet, the fishery will close at 10:00 p.m. Newfoundland Daylight Time, (9:30 p.m. Atlantic Daylight Time), of the same day, August 11, 2009.
