DFO advises that, at the request of industry, the fixed gear Greenland halibut (turbot) fishery for vessels less than 65 feet will open in NAFO Divisions 2GHJ at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2009. It was previously scheduled to open on Saturday, August 15, 2009.

Fish harvesters are reminded to review their licence conditions with respect to the hail out requirements.
